(My Story)

Navigating The World Of Design: My Personal Journey To Where I Am Today

Born and raised in Miami, FL, I stepped into the tech world by making the decision to study at a design school in the heart of Downtown Miami, which is increasingly being recognized as a tech powerhouse. Despite a variety of hardships, I was able to excel academically and was chosen to receive the Ironhack x Uber scholarship in 2018 for UX Design. Post graduation, I progressed in my vocation steadily, honing Product and UX skills while working on an assortment of challenging projects.

At Publicis Sapient, I worked on the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) account, learning industry best practices and developing team leading skills within a high paced, collaborative but competitive context. Due to my contribution to these projects, the experience of their websites and mobile applications were significantly elevated, resulting in a noticeable surge in sales and heightened customer engagement. I have also had the privilege to work with Fortune 500 companies such as Royal Bank of Canada, AARP, Neiman Marcus and Jeep.

In my current role, I lead a team of designers creating new generative AI tools for client accounts like Verizon, Pfizer and Intel. Collaborating closely with project managers and developers to adhere to deadlines and create unique experiences for their customers.

Senior Designer

November 2023 - Present

Senior Designer responsible for leading groundbreaking projects in Artificial Intelligence for companies like Verizon, Pfizer and Intel. Spearheading the design of AI-driven conversational design systems, creating interfaces that are functional, aesthetically sound and ethically designed. While collaborating closely with engineers and product managers, in order to successfully integrate AI solutions that seamlessly fit into each brand's unique environment.

Product Designer

January 2021 - November 2023

Product Designer focused on Puppet's cross functional products in order to design and execute new features for upcoming releases. Led the product design for Puppet Enterprise, a SaaS platform which at completion resulted in a 50% increase in user engagement.

Experience Designer responsible for the overall design of user interface elements and process flows to help increase user traffic and retention to Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) websites and apps.

LIBERTY LATIN AMERICA

UX/UI Designer

April 2018 - June 2019

Led a variety of user-centric initiatives designed to deliver/enhanced user experiences to all 11,000 employees. Responsible for the enterprise-wide effort to deploy and redesign the company’s Intranet platform as well as the redesign of the corporate main website with the goal of enhancing the user interface and experience.

Product Designer

September 2017 - March 2018

Worked with the Office of Design to develop and implement an internal content delivery platform to be utilized by all 13,000 Foreign Service employees. Produced rich user interface designs for the web and mobile versions of the platform. Collaborated daily with project managers and development teams throughout sprint cycles.
